What's Happening Locally

 

 Do you miss your Grandchildren who live away or are they grown up?

Our Tamworth Office is currently working on a literacy and numeracy program and is seeking expressions of interest to work with local primary schools  
This partnership will bring children from Kindergarten to Year 2 together with volunteers for a couple of hours, once or twice per week for a one on one learning, which is proven to be effective in lifting literacy and numeracy outcomes and assisting children to smoothly transition from infants to primary school and then onto higher education.
 
Volunteers may be retired members of the community living in their own homes, retirement villages or self care aged care facilities, who are willing to listen to children at a nearby primary school read.
