Careers Network Inc is your Local Community Partnership for Tamworth and NW Slopes

Careers Network is one of 213 Local Community Partnerships and is part of the Australian Government initiative “Career Advice Australia”

We facilitate connections between schools; further education; business; parents; students and the community to provide assistance and support for all young people from 13 to 19 years of age in career development through the following three programmes:

· Structured Workplace Learning (SWL)

The provision of structured learning opportunities for students in a real

or simulated workplace through Vocational Education & Training courses.

· Career and Transition Support (CTS)

Programmes that will assist young people to make the transition from

school to work or to further education and training.

· Adopt a School Programme (ASP)

Builds links between businesses, students, teachers and the broader

community through activities that increase knowledge and opportunities.
